Based in 1943, ‘Flying Fortress’ is a roaring adventure taking a cue from the early pulp adventure stories: A top-notch B-17 crew is tasked with one last mission before their tour of duty ends: To bomb Hitler’s Eagles Nest. Things go awry when they crash land in the Black Forest and discover a medieval civilization under siege by ghastly creatures: Zombies twisted by a terrifying strain of the Bubonic Plague. Trapped in this nightmare, they must join the fight against the undead and find a way back home.
