Comics and Technology: Finding Direction in a Technological Age
Up until the last 15 years or so, if you were a comic book fan, if you wanted to buy comics, you would go to the comic shop or book store, period. Other than the Ultraverse foray into really expensive CD comics, there really was no electronic form of comics readily available. Comic Updates

Hello!

November 12, 2011
I finally figured out how to leave a message. I am quite new and somehow still lost.

A few information about The Pirate Balthasar.
This comic is a romantic comedy, mainly, that exploits the closed circle to go entirely slice of life.
It describes life on board a ship, answering more common questions such as: how do you go to the bathroom, what do you eat, what happens if you get sick? - and focuses on how relationships develop if you are stuck on the same ship for five months.

After working on so many action/adventures movies, since I retired (at least for a bit) I decided to explore a different aspect of piracy. The one that interested me the most :)
First of all this is no Caribbean, I chose a setting closer to my own land. Also... I feel that Hollywood has been telling a lot of weird things about pirates which makes them a bit dull and all the same, jumping into pounding action (which is something they very seldom did) while pirates were very relaxed dude who liked to chill most of the times and have fun.

The story is set in the year 1660 in the Mediterranean sea.... reason why they dress more in Arabian style and they all have long hair and are groomed.
For historical information and research you may refer to the Useful yap section in the blog: http://thepiratebalthasar.blogspot.com/

If you left any comments and I did not answer... I am sorry but I really don't know where the comments are located yet! ^^"
I hope you enjoy the comic.
