Robot God Akamatsu

Robot God Akamatsu is a valentine to the Super Robot genre of the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. Giant robots and monsters attack Boston, and Robot God Akamatsu (RGA, for short) is the city’s only form of defense! RGA is also about the relationship between a father and his estranged son, about the abuse of power and how far some are willing to go to see their goals met. It’s a little bit Voltron, a little bit Force Five, and a mighty dollop of Shogun Warriors. The script by James Biggie offers plenty of city-leveling action while also laying the groundwork, piece by piece, for a larger story. Co-Creator/Artist Frankie B. Washington handles the visuals – kinetic art inspired the style of black-and-white manga comics.

The image is so small, I can't read it. Art looks pretty good, though!
